The purpose of our chapter is to promote responsible motorcycling activities for Harley Owners Group members and their families by conducting chapter activities and encouraging participation in other H.O.G. events.

Welcome to the Great Salt Lake Chapter of the Harley Owner's Group, known Internationally as "HOG". Our Chapter is sponsored by Intermountain Harley-Davidson with stores located in Salt Lake City and Sandy, Utah. Our Chapter meeting room is located at the Sandy Shop. Please feel free to browse our site. If you are an owner of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, the greatest motorcycles on Earth, and you have a current National membership in the Harley Owner's Group, we invite you to join our family and become a member of our local Chapter. Among HOG members, there are no strangers, only friends you haven't met. About H.O.G.
Harley-Davidson® established the Harley Owners Group® in 1983 in response to a growing desire by Harley® riders for an organized way to share their passion and show their pride. By 1985, 49 local chapters had sprouted around the country, with a total membership of 60,000.
Rapid growth continued into the 1990s, and in 1991 H.O.G.® officially went international, with the first official European H.O.G. Rally in Cheltenham, England. Worldwide membership numbered 151,600, with 685 local chapters.
As the '90s continued, H.O.G. hysteria spread into Asia, including new chapters in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. By 1999, worldwide membership had hit the half-million mark, and the number of local chapters totaled 1,157. Today, over a million members make H.O.G. the largest factory-sponsored motorcycle organization in the world and it shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
The Harley Owners Group is much more than just a motorcycle organization. It's one million people around the world united by a common passion: making the Harley-Davidson dream a way of life.
