The following info is an RTTS Update. Times and itenerary have remained the same, but our location has shifted from Carbondale, CO to Kanab, UT. Our apologies for those who were looking forward to Carbondale, but Stay Safer At Home orders in that state are slated to remain in effect until the end of June, which makes the destination problematic for RTTS.
For long time members, Kanab is no stranger and there have been a number of epic RTTS events to that destination (including Laurel's and my first!). We hope to keep that tradition alive this year. Kanab is a city located slightly west of the center of Utah, at the far southern edge and borders the state of Arizona. The city is within riding distance of several National Parks including Grand Staircase, Zions, and even the Grand Canyon. Please review the updated info below and if you are planning on signing up and going to RTTS adjust your travel plans accordingly.
As you are probably aware - we are planning on holding RTTS as scheduled. Below you will find date/time/hotel info as well as anything else we can pack into this blog. As attendance is somewhat less than what we had calculated originally - we are trying to reserve 25 rooms, though more may be available so you’ll want to get them while they’re hot. Registration for RTTS begins Tuesday, April 21st, and will run through Friday, May 15th, although you are welcome to reserve your room anytime. Room rate and hotel info is below. Details on routes and chapter ride destinations will be announced as we get closer.
